Project-Based Learning

We don't believe in endless theory sessions. Every lesson connects to building something real. You'll start with simple landing pages and work up to complete business websites.

Our students often tell us they learned more in three months with us than in years of watching random YouTube videos. There's a reason for that — we focus on practical skills you'll actually use.

Each project builds on the last, so you develop both technical skills and design intuition naturally. No memorizing code snippets or copying examples blindly.

Meet Your Instructors

Both of our lead instructors have spent years in the trenches — building websites for startups, agencies, and everything in between. They know what works and what doesn't.

Kai Lindström

Senior Design Instructor

Kai spent eight years at design agencies before joining us. He's the guy who'll teach you why certain color combinations work and others don't. His students love his direct feedback and practical design principles that actually make sense.

Thom Nakamura

Technical Lead

Thom handles the technical side — HTML, CSS, responsive design, and all the code that makes websites work properly. He's particularly good at explaining complex concepts in ways that don't make your head spin. Previously worked at three different web development studios.

What You'll Actually Build

Forget cookie-cutter portfolio pieces. Our curriculum focuses on the types of websites businesses actually need. You'll work on restaurant sites, professional services pages, small business portfolios, and e-commerce layouts.

Every project teaches specific skills while building something you'd be proud to show potential clients. We cover responsive design, accessibility basics, and performance optimization — the stuff that separates amateur websites from professional ones.

By the time you finish, you'll have a portfolio of real projects plus the confidence to take on freelance work or apply for entry-level positions. Our next cohort begins in September 2025, giving you time to prepare and clear your schedule for focused learning.

Core Skills You'll Master

  • Clean, semantic HTML structure
  • Modern CSS including Flexbox and Grid
  • Responsive design for all devices
  • Typography and color theory
  • User experience fundamentals
