Our Story in Web Design Education

We started Energyneuro because we noticed something missing in Taiwan's tech education scene. Too many courses promised quick results but left students struggling with real projects.

How We Got Started

Back in 2022, I was freelancing and kept meeting people who'd spent months on coding bootcamps but couldn't build a simple website from scratch. They knew the theory but froze when facing a blank HTML file.

That's when we realized something crucial. Learning web design isn't about memorizing CSS properties or JavaScript functions. It's about understanding how users think, how designs solve problems, and how to make technology work for real people.

So we built something different. Our approach focuses on hands-on projects from day one, peer collaboration, and learning through building actual websites that people want to use.

Real Project Focus

Every lesson connects to building something tangible. We skip theoretical exercises that don't translate to actual work. Students create portfolios while they learn.

Peer Learning

The best insights come from working with others. Our programs emphasize group projects, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving from experienced developers.

Taiwan Market Understanding

We know the local tech landscape. Our curriculum reflects what Taiwan companies actually need, with case studies from regional businesses and cultural context that matters.

What We Actually Believe

  • Learning happens best when you're building something you care about, not following generic tutorials
  • Code reviews and peer feedback teach more than solo practice ever will
  • Understanding user needs matters more than knowing every CSS framework
  • Making mistakes publicly helps everyone learn faster than hiding struggles
  • Local context matters - Taiwan's web culture has unique characteristics worth understanding
  • Small cohorts create better learning relationships than massive online courses
